David Stokes - Senior Manager

David Stokes joined Redpoint Energy in November 2005 from Origin Energy in Australia. Since joining Redpoint, David has been involved in a range of projects covering portfolio risk analysis, contracting strategy, and energy company valuation analysis.  At Origin David worked in the Wholesale & Trading Division on the valuation and portfolio risk assessment of major projects and acquisitions.  He also worked closely with the trading desk and risk management team to define and manage the risks associated with these transactions in the context of Origin’s energy portfolio.

Prior to Origin, David worked on the Structuring desk at Williams Energy in London, and previous to that was working with the current directors of Redpoint at Caminus within the trading and risk advisory group.  He began his career on the foreign exchange trading desk at JP Morgan.

David has a degree in Economics (Hons) from the Australian National University.
